Arbour Counseling Services Arbour Counseling Services offers a full range of programs and clinical specialties.  They offer individual, couple, family and group counseling for all ages, emergency assessments and responsible assistance during times of crises, individual treatment plans developed in close collaboration with patients' and referrers' goals and needs.  Primary therapist work to coordinate all treatment issues and to maintain communication with other involved professionals.  They also offer evaluations and treatment of anxiety, depression and stress-related issues. top

Catholic Social Services  Our team of licensed clinicians offers services to individuals, families and groups of all ages.  We offer morning, afternoon and evening appointments at five offices across southeastern Massachusetts, including:  Fall River, New Bedford, Attleboro, Taunton and Hyannis on Cape Cod.  Each therapist is bound and adheres to strict ethical standards of confidentiality.  We accept most major health insurance companies and also offer a sliding-scale-fee if you do not have health insurance.     top

Family Service Association is a comprehensive social service agency dedicated to providing strength and support to individuals and families.  The agency’s programs include professional counseling, strength-based “wraparound” support services for children and families, after school day care, mentoring and specialized services for elders and disabled adults. All services are geared toward promoting and maintaining viable and satisfying family relationships while maximizing independence and quality of life to people of all ages and from all social, economic and linguistic groups.

Greater Fall River Early Intervention We provide comprehensive, integrated services, utilizing a family centered approach, to facilitate the developmental progress of eligible children between the ages of birth to three years old.  Children with a specific diagnosed condition or whose development is delayed, or who are at risk for developmental delay due to biological and/or environmental factors are eligible for services top

Greater Fall River Healthy Families Eligible parents or prospective parents will have their own Family Support Worker who will help them identify and work towards goals they have for themselves and their family.  Both mothers and father can participate in services and have their questions and concerns addressed.  This is a voluntary, strength-based program that is free of charge and confidential.  Information about pregnancy, parenting and child development is readily available.  We are sensitive to different lifestyles and cultures: Portuguese, Spanish, Khmer services are available. top

May Institute May Institute has set a national standard for providing comprehensive services to children and adolescents with autism, brain injury, developmental, and behavioral disorders.  May offers both home-based and school consultation services and has developed a unique Positive Schools program that combines behavior support techniques and proven instructional practices to reduce discipline problems and improve academic engagement in schools throughout the country. top

New Bedford Child & Family Services Child and Family's mental health programs provide the foundation for the agency's wide range of services to children, adults, and families.  This fully licensed mental health clinic provides therapy and assessments for individuals, families, couples, and groups.  We offer psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring by a psychiatrist. top

St. Anne's Hospital - The Center for Children & Families   Behavioral health services for children are provided through The Center for Children & Families at Saint Anne's Hospital.  Services include developmentally pediatrics, child and adolescent psychiatry, child psychology, neuropsychology, and clinical social work.  Children with complex medical, developmental, and/or behavioral problems receive interdisciplinary care.   top    

St. Anne's Hospital - The Youth Trauma Program The Youth Trauma Program at Saint Anne's Hospital provides evaluation and counseling services to child/adolescent victims of sexual, physical abuse and other trauma including experiencing violence at home, among peers, or in the community.  The program services children ages 3-18 and their families.  Services include individual and family therapy; forensic sexual abuse evaluations; specialized counseling to children with developmental disabilities who have been maltreated; community outreach and education; and group therapy.  The Youth Trauma Program has been in existence since 1984, and the services are free of charge. top

Seven Hills Behavioral Health Seven Hills Behavioral Health is the combination of programs and services formerly found within the Center for Human Services, PYCO and Psychiatric Management Consultants.  Although having a new name, we have over 30 years experience working with the Portuguese, English, Spanish and other nationalities living throughout the Commonwealth.  Seven Hills Behavioral Health's mission is to increase access and remove barriers to health, education and social services by providing direct services, advocacy and leadership to the ever-growing population of people facing life challenges throughout Massachusetts.  We provide Case Management and Outreach Services, Educational Services, HIV/AIDS/STD Prevention and Education, Outpatient Mental Health, Parent Aide/Mentor Services, a Safe Child Visitation Center, Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention Programs and partnering with parents and families to create a strong Tobacco Coalition. top

South Bay Early Intervention Early Intervention targets children from birth to three and their families who are experiencing a variety of needs arising from a child's premature birth, feeding, vision or hearing problems, behavior or attention difficulties, disability, health conditions or environmental issues. top

South Bay Mental Health Center South Bay provides a continuum of Mental Health Counseling services including individual, couples, group, and family counseling.  The goal of treatment is to encourage individuals and families to become self sufficient and live as independently as their abilities allow.  Services include Substance Abuse Treatment Program which offers an accessible, entry point to individuals and families touched by addiction and the Diagnosis Program treats clients who have a mental illness, developmental delay, head injury, or history of abuse, combined with a substance abuse addiction. top

Stanley Street Treatment & Resources - SSTAR Stanley Street Treatment and Resource is a non-profit health care and social service agency.  We provide a wide range of mental health and substance abuse treatment services to people throughout the communities of Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Department of Mental Health Retardation and Hospitals in Rhode Island licenses all of our substance abuse and mental health programs. top
