VISION

Fonseca School students will independently read and write at grade level. Their reading will reflect proficiency displaying accurate phrasing, fluency and comprehension in all content areas. Their writing process will display use of clarity, editing, revision and publishing. Effective and efficient problem solving strategies will foster critical thinking required for their academic success.

Here at Fonseca School everyone in the community is responsible for continued learning using standards based curriculum and data driven instruction. Our high expectations will instill personal growth and foster individual accomplishments.

DRESS CODE/SPIRIT WEAR

All students from grade K to 5 will be required to wear spirit wear beginning on the first day of school in September.

Parents will purchase tops and bottoms on your own.

Shirts must be gold or maroon t-shirts or sweatshirts; and maroon or white polos, and must have the Fonseca logo ironed onto them.Logos will be available for purchase at the school. Pants, shorts, skirts or capris must be khaki, dark blue or black in the style of Dockers, Dickies or chinos.  No jeans will be allowed.

On gym days only, students will be allowed to wear jogging or athletic pants in blue, black or khaki with the appropriate spirit wear tops. All items must have the school logo.

No colored shoelaces will be allowed.

Any spirit wear that you previously purchased at Fonseca may be used for September. 

It is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to ensure that their child(ren) dress in accordance with the school’s Spirit Wear policy.This will ensure an environment that is conducive for learning for all students as well as discourage competition of various styles and name brands.Uniformity for all students will cause less distractions, keep the focus on learning and establish a safe environment at the Fonseca School.
